Lord Kubera, also known as Kuber and Kuvera, is one of the most important gods. He is believed to be the Lord of Wealth and Prosperity - protector of all material wealth. He is regarded as the treasurer of gods who grants power, rank, position and authority to them. As per scriptures he has a special connection with merchants and traders because he protects their prosperity in life.
